Suggest A Purchase

The Oakville Public Library welcomes your suggestions for additions to the collection. Before entering your suggestion, please double check our catalogue to make sure we don't already own it.

Suggestions are evaluated according to our Collection Development Policy and available budget. We do not normally purchase items older than two years, nor do we consider items not yet published or released. Older or specialized material can often be requested through interlibrary loan.

We regret that we can't purchase all suggestions, and that the volume of requests prevents us from responding individually.

Each request is carefully considered as part of our commitment to have the best possible collection for Oakville residents.
